Being a family run business with over 40 years of experience distributed amongst the Debono family members, we believe that every customer should be treated as a V.I.P guest in our establishment. Be it a young couple enjoying a glass of Chenin Blanc in the idyllic Maltese Summer Sun or a Business Lunch, our team guarantees prompt and efficient service always topped with that lovely Maltese Smile.
All our team members are trained in the art of informal friendly service, and are well conversed in the different menus we offer. One very important aspect of our business is keeping our staff members happy so that they can easily relate the good vibes and a positive attitude with any other stakeholder.
The restaurant has an outside patio area overlooking the church on one side and the bay on the other. It is completely accessible for disabled persons and there is easy access to parking.
The Food
Our menus change according to seasonality, being a specialized restaurant one of our main prized food items is definitely Fresh local fish, the daily catch may vary, but, our fish display is always loaded with the finest catch our fishermen have to offer.
Being at the heart of Malta’s main fishing village, Ix- Xlukkajr restaurant offers an overwhelming array of Fresh Sea produce. Having said that, we do also offer a reasonable selection of meats, poultry and pasta dishes, making sure that all our patrons can enjoy a superb meal even if fish is not their first choice.
Dietary requirements are also taken firmly into consideration and our chefs cater for all major dietary requirements such as Vegetarian diets and Celiac diets. We do also tailor make dishes to complement any demanding client.
Balancing different tastes and flavours, but, keeping in mind not to overwhelm the palate with unconventional foods and looking into the smallest details, preparing all our dishes using only fresh produce – 100% additives free.
