For the second year since our management took over Ix-Xlukkajr Restaurant, we have been handpicked as winners in the 2010 M.T.A STAR awards scheme for best customer care in Maltese restaurants. It is an honour and a privilege to receive such a renowned award in such a small period of time.

Ix-Xlukkajr Restaurant has been a Runner-up in the STAR Awards 2006. The STAR Award which issued by the Malta Tourism Authority, is given to individuals who perform to the highest standards within the local tourism industry.

Ix- Xlukkajr has been included  in The Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants as one of the top rated restaurants on the islands and one of the very few restaurants top rated restaurants in the Southern part of Malta. It has been the third year running (in only five years of operation, since 2006) that Ix-Xlukkajr restaurant has been rated amongst the top rated 150 restaurants on the Maltese Islands.

Awarded the Actualidad International Award Leader in Prestige and Quality 2008‏, by a Spanish publication giant who visited the Malta in the event of increased touristic traffic between countries.

Awarded the 10/10 Rating by Piccante, an independent Malta restaurants listing website. You can read their in-depth review published over here. Ix-Xlukkajr Restaurant has been quoted by Piccante as: “We simply cannot emphasize any further at how excellent this restaurant is when it comes to eating some marvelously Fresh Fish”. The restaurant has also been awarded with the Excellent Service Award, the Value For Money Award and the Selection Of Fresh Fish Award.
